Whenever I try to access newsgroups with a large number of posts, i.e. a DVD binaries group, OE hangs and says "not responding" I realize I could set it to only download a portion of the headers, but if I do that I will only be able to see some of the posts and miss some things I might want to download.
How can I download all the headers and not have OE hang?
Once I close OE and restart it, it works fine as long as I stay away from the groups with a lot of headers (in the hundreds of thousands, or even 1 or 2 M headers)

I keep my inbox clean with <10 messages saved at any one time as I've heard that that can cause weird things to happen to OE.
