View Full Version : Network-Mail problem

Danny

Hi !

I have just set up a network with my new laptop, desktop and a Wireless Dell
router between them and I'm wondering how I can manage to receive or even
just read my email (with OE) on my laptop when I want to.

Anyone can help?

Laptop on XP Home, OE6
Desktop on XP Pro, OE6

Thanks !

Danny

Set up the account as you normall would.

Now, you've got to decide how you want to deal with getting mail on the
laptop and the other machines. Do you mind if one gets the emal on one
machine andnot the other, do have to do a thing, just fire it up and run.

Now, if you want it on all machines, you'll have to set up OE to leave the
mail on the server for X number of days. That way you can make sure you have
it on each machine.

Tools | Accounts | Mail | | Properties | Advanced tab
