View Full Version : Attachments not included

John Raser
Help! I get e-mails with attachments but when I click on the "paper clip"
button all I get is the faded names of the attachments. Hence, no
attachment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tools | Options | Security tab
uncheck the box to not allow attachments.

And while in the option, give it look over on the other tabs, lots of stuff
there you might find useful as well as Tools | Accounts | Mail (or News) |
| Properties.

Then there is also View | Layout. Lots of stuff in those menus.

From Jim Pickering:

You might try this and see if it helps:

1. Click Start->Run, type "regedit" (without quotations) in the Open
box and click OK.

2. Browse to this registry key:

3. From the right pane, search for a value named BlockExeAttachments.

4. If you find the BlockExeAttachments value, right click it and choose
Modify and delete the number in the Value data box.

5. Restart Outlook Express and try again.
