It's just my original file was an mpeg after editing it got saved as a WMV and now my computer cant view it as it's missing the codec or something. Can Movie Maker save as formats other than WMV?

Movie Maker 2 can save video/audio as a WMV or AVI file. If you use it to
extract the audio only it will save as a WMA file.

Can you describe a bit more what is happening.

Are you using MM1 or 2. If 2 you have a whole raft of options and teh best
one is dv-avi. WMP should be able to play your wmv file though, have you
changed/renamed any codecs to remove a problem with MM?
