How can I separate the video from audio in order ot drag new video clips, mantaining the same audio as a voiceover?
Thank you.

Hello there.

You could extract the Audio from the video file by dragging the whole video
file down to the narration track and then use the FILE > SAVE MOVIE
option...you will end up with a WMA file which is of course Audio suitable
for re-importing to Movie Maker where you could drop it onto the narration
track and edit the video track as you please. Don't forget to mute the
audio in the Video track...

I recently needed to do just this...

But I found it easier to simply copy the audio track to
the "narration and music" track, MUTE the audio on the
original video, and then "slice" in the cutaway video.

The trick here is making sure the "cut out" video and
the "inserted" video are exactly the same duration -
otherwise the audio will be out of sync. (Note this also
means you can't add a transition, as WMM "pulls" video
into the transition - which would also make the audio out
of sync with the subsequent video.)
Good luck!
