I bought a digital camera, can import the movie, and can save the movie back to a mini-dv tape or a CD but how do I burn it to a DVD? I'm assuming I need DVD burner software--why and any suggestions for the software?

Also, how can a DVD be recorded to a CD and then played in a DVD player- is this correct? Does the DVD player have to accept a certain format?

There is some information on the Microsoft web site at

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/saveshare/default.mspx

which talks about burning your movies onto DVD, and PapaJohn has some
information on his web site under "DVD Software" at

http://www.papajohn.org
