Hello there,

When recording DV-AVI I allways get the annoying interlaced problem
(horizontal lines).
I know now how to filter them out with TMPGEnc, but I wonder If there's a
method to avoid the interlaced problem at all. Filtering takes much time
........
I tried the rename codec of John Kelly, but that didn't work for me :-(
(thanks for the file, mr. Kelly)

Any hints appriciated.

Thanks,
Erwin

Another option is to save your movie in WMV format,
which will automatically deinterlace it. You'll
have to experiment to see if the quality will be
acceptable.
