Ok. footage downloaded from my camcorder in avi. and
edited in movie maker. when saved as a movie file (again
in avi)and played in media player, the audio is fine .

if sent out to dv tape again or burned onto a dvd by
importing the file sonys 'click to DVD' there is no sound.

if the movie file is just opened with premiere 6 LE( a
starter version that is bundled on my vaio)there is no
sound.

any ideas.. i know of course it could be humiliatingly
simple.
