I recently imported three small .avi files into movie maker to make them one
complete movie, when i saved the project it saved it as a .MSWMM file.

Is there a way that a can convert this back to an .avi file as i am using
Ulead software and it only accepts .avi files

What you saved is the project file (as you said) not a movie. Use File >
Save Movie file > My Computer > enter a name > Settings.

On the settings page click "Show more choices" and select DV AVI from the
drop down list.

Hello there,

You have saved the project but not the video. Click on FILES > SAVE MOVIE
FILE..... and follow the wizard through making sure you take note of the name
of the file and location you save the file too.
