how do i save a file in dv avi format. movies that i edited seems to be saved
in wmv format only. also can you please tell me that movies that are saved in
avi format, can they be played using a normal dvd player? Please help. thanks

When you publish your movie in Movie Maker on the third page of the Save
Movie Wizard click on the other settings radio button and choose dv-avi from
the list. You may have to click on Show more choices... to see it. An .avi
cannot be played back on dvd player directly. You need to burn a DVD with
another program first using your .avi as source content. Check out
