When I do a backup of my system which exceeds 3 Terabytes ( Im not sure
exactly what the lower limit is) and store the file on another computer over
the network. (disk to disk) I get error messages.

Eg

Device reported an error on a request to write data to media reported ,
Unkown error.

Or

Error Copying file or folder
Cannot copy April_backup: the specified network name is no longer available.

It has been suggested to me that possibly the windows backup program just is
not good enought to recover from network clitches, since a backup of this
size takes 20 to 30 minutes.

Has anyone else had the same problems or can anyone provide any help on
solving this problem.
