I accidentally erased some sort of registry key. I am not
sure which one exactly, so I have been working over the
phone with someone and we came to a block. I have re-
installed my Windows 2000 over again on my C: drive, I
have a D: drive too. Now with the new instalation I needed
the critical updates of Service Pack 4 and Internet
Explorer 6 Pack 1. When I try to download SP-4 from
Microsoft download center, it gives me an error and closes
on me. And with Explorer 6 upgrade, it says it is already
installed and needs to be rebooted to to continue its
pending work. Of course rebooting hasn't helped. I have
tried many things and I am not that computer savvy. So I
am asking for your help! Please! In laymen terms :)
