Please delete "xx" from senders e-mail address.

I recently downloaded Windows Media Player 9 Series and a
Critical Update for Windows Media Player Script Commands.
Since I have done this my copmuter does not turn off after
it goes through the Shut Down procedure. The screen looks
like its fibrilating and the computer will only turn off
if I hold the power button in for about 10 seconds.
I have searched the various MS sites but to no avail.
Can someone help.
