Would like to bring files from Wme PC to W2000 machine.
Copying/moving My Docs is no problem without Backup, but
files in MS Works and Paperport are stored in default
folders.MS Backup finds/replaces folders automatically
without having to locate subfolders individually. Tried
to put W2k (NT Backup)utility on Wme PC and vice versa -
no luck. (Files missing).Article 155979 says they are not
compatible. Is there an better way?
Thanks for any help.
Mark
I've never used NTBackup, as I heard to many stories of compatibility
issues, allways used a third party app; A couple of suggestions, On old pc
move data to My Docs, or simply copy burn data to cd, or use winrar or
pkzip. Lastly trial copies of 3rd part backup apps, eg Handy Backup or
Genie-Soft to name a few.
