I have a desktop with XP home and a laptop with win2000 pro. Both have
wireless cards working off a router via dsl. I would like to file & printer
share. The printer and most files are on the XP machine. I set-up the
network thr/ the XP wizard and created the set-up disc. Problem is that when
I go to install it on the win2000 machine, it says that it is only compatible
with 98, ME & XP.
Question: Is it even possible to file & print share b/t the two operating
systems?
Yes, you'll have to set up the win2k sys manually, unless yr reuter has a
setup disk/web setup, which most decent branded ones do
I have such a sys
