My acess database is trying to print all the reports to
my color printer rather than to my default printer. Then
I must go into 'printer settings' and choose My B&W
default printer. How can I get Access to automatically
send my reports to my default printer which is B&W without
having to go into printer settings and changing back to my
default printer each time I reopen Access?

Perhaps when you created the reports, this printer was set, and you then
saved report.
Open report in design view, check/amend printer settings, save report.
