My company gave me a copy of Windows 2000 Professional to
put on my personal notebook. Windows 2000 xp came with
it. My question is this. If given the choice between the
two which would I be better off with? Given the fact that
Toshiba did not include the actual software I cannot
simply reload the XP version if I decide I dislike
Professional.
What are the major differences?

What's the reason they gave you this? Do they require it for some reason? Do
you have XP Home or Pro? I'd stick with XP if it were me - but are you sure
Toshiba didn't give you a recovery disk?
