I've gotten an error message which reads: "Windows 2000
could not start because the following file is missing or
corrupt: <windows 2000 root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe". The
fix from the Microsoft site tells me to go to the MS-DOS
prompt and type in the fix. The problem is...I CAN'T GET
THERE!!! Doing the F8 thing upon startup gets me to the
screen to do the SAFE MODE WITH COMMAND but won't let me
type in a DOS prompt. How do I do this?
