I am unable to log into users laptop. The users account
is locked, the administrator password that we have does
not work, and the PCI ethernet card does not work so this
laptop can not be put on the network to retreive data from
the hard drive. This laptop does not have a modem.
Is there anyway I can get pass the log on screen in
Windows 2000 Professional to access the laptop?

Hi
You might try to reset the local Administrator password
with one of the methods mentioned here:
