Hi,

Well I just built a machine running Windows 2000 SP4 and
the last thing I installed was Inventor 4 from Autodesk.
Every time I go through Windows Explore and try to open a
inventor file I get an error message. The error message
say exeplore.exe has generated an errors and will be
closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log has been created. I went to see what the
error log said was wrong with the program. Their was no
error log created. It worked before I reistalled windows.
I don't understand why I am getting this error message

I had similar problems with both XP and 98. I am blaming
it on spyware, but it could be coincidental. Try running
spybot or adaware. These freeware programs are located on
various website. It will find the spyware and quarantine
the programs while resolving registry errors. This seemed
to work for me.
