I am running Wn2k professional SP3 w/128 RAM connected to
a Win2k AD network. I am behind a checkpoint firewall and
have applied all critical post SP3 security patches.

Through the filemon utility, explorer.exe and mobsync.exe
processes are continously reading (and sometimes writing)
to c:\winnt\csc (offline files - client-side-caching). In
approx 4 minutes, this one particular machine generated a
log file of 40MB in size.

Many workstations/Laptops on the network are seeing
extreme slowness but seems to be localized to these
processes.

Can someone help explain why the excessive reads/writes
are happening and what I can do to minimize / eliminate
it? Any help would be appreciated....
