I am getting the "The system is shutting down. Please save
all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will
be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" message. The system then performs an
automated shutdown. At first glance I thought this was
the Blaster worm. However, it references "The system
process C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\SERVICES.EXE". Blaster
references RPC. I have run the FixBlast util from
symantec and no virus was found. I have not found any
virus references to this patricular error. Is this an
actual o/s error? Can anyone help me with a resolution?
This is occuring on 2000 Server with Sp4. Thanks in
advance.
