I have several files that are missing the file extensions
and are defaulting to the basic "unknown" icon with a
timer (analog clock) looking graphic in the bottom left
corner.

If I add an extension it changes to the icon for that
extension, but still has the little timer until I create a
new copy of the file.

Does anyone know what this is??

Any guidance is much appreciated.
