I have search thru the group and google, could not find any clue.
Actually I can;t define exactly what I am looking for, because the
problem is very strange.

I can't create any file or write anything to the computer's any
directories, drives etc. I see the permissions are ok, and I am logged
in as Administrator. It is windows 2000 Server with SP4. I am running
only Imail 7.15 mail server in it, nothing else. I have noticed the
problem by noticing the email list files of the Imail server was lost,
all of them. Then I tried to recreate them, it did not let me. It does
not allow me to write to any drives and to any directories.

I also tried to run windows update. It downloaded it, when it came to
installation, it failed.

Any help very appreciated.

Thanks and regards.

Murtix.

Any errors showing in the Event Log? What error message are you
receiving when you try to create new file or folders?
