Hello,
I have two subnets. Subnet "A" has two WIN2003 DC's, and a Win2003 member
server with WINS / DHCP installed.
Subnet "B" has a Win2000 member server with DCHP RELAY & WINS installed.
None of the servers are multi-homed.
All computers on both subnets belong to a single domain.
All computers on subnet "A" can view computers, via Net Neighbourhood / net
view, on BOTH subnets.
All computers on subnet "B" can ONLY view computers, via Net Neighbourhood /
net view, on subnet "B".
Push / Pull replication is setup between the two WINS servers on both
subnets. DB's are in sync.
TCP/IP is configured correctly on both subnets; computers on subnet "A" use
WINS server on that subnet & computers on subnet "B" use WINS server on
subnet "B".
On subnet "A" a DC is the Master Browser. On subnet "B" the Wins2000 member
server is the Master Browser (forced via registry - IsDomainMaster=TRUE)
Why are subnet "B" computers unable to view any computers from subnet "A"?
Many thanks in advance.
Andrew

Do you have the [1b] and [20] records in the WINS? this link may help,

Thanks for the quick reply!
There is no [1Bh] registered, for either of the Master Browsers, in either
WINS.
There is a [20h] entry for both Master Browsers.
Is it possble to manually register a [1Bh] entry?
Both servers have been restarted recently so I'm unsure as to why they
didn't register the entry manually.
Thanks.
