View Full Version : Project Server in non-pure MS Environment

My company has been looking at MS Project Server 2003 but was told that
unless you are running a pure MS system (no Adobe for example) you can
expect to see data loss during transmission from the clients to the
server and back out again.

Is this true? Is it necessary to run pure MS on the client and/or server?

Thank you,

CMD

Did you happen to notice whether it was old wife speaking to you? Sure
sounds like one of her tales.

Any chance that the person that told you this worked for a company that
competes with Project Server?

What possible effect could having an adobe product have on the ability
of a client to communicate with a sql database? I have photoshop,
Acrobat, macromedia Flash and a wide variety of non-ms software
installed.

Do not buy anything from the person that told you this.
