Hi,

I am using SMS 2003 OSD to capture image.

My reference machine has 2 drives C and D. Whan I run image capture on
that machine I am only able to take C drive, D drive is not appearing.

I dont know where to specify to take image having both C and D drive.

Please guide.

Regards

Sunil

OSD only supports capturing the C-Drive (one partition)

It is technically possible to have OSD capture multiple partitions by
having a script updating the disklabel names in the control file in
the ~SMS_ICW folder for each pass while in WinPE, but again, it's not
supported...

If you contact me at myitforum (alias jarwidmark) I can send you a
sample vbscript I wrote that will capture all NTFS partitions on a
disk using OSD.

Hi Johan,

I have sent a mail (to jarwidmark in Myitforum) requesting the script
to capture all the drives present on the referance machine.

One Doubt : Will it be one single .wim file holding all partition data
or we get seperate Wim files for each partition. If its seperate wim
file for each partition then how will we install those wim files on
target machine using SMS.

Please guide.

Regards

Sunil

I sent you the script

There will be separate wim-files and I haven't yet figured out how to
tweak OSD to run multiple passes of the restore process, but I haven't
giving up either... :)
