Sorry about that ... should have read all your replies.
HOWEVER ... to your problem.
I recall this happening years ago on other systems. My impression is that
you cannot just delete and add Fonts like any other file.
Are you Windows XP?
Here's what you PROBABLY need to do (since I'm not going to mess with my
Font folder ... sorry ... you're on your own ... set a checkpoint or
backup).
Get familiar with Fonts:
1. Open Control Panel | Fonts folder.
2. You should still be in a Modified Windows Explorer Shell (a new one)
3. Click on File menu
4. You should see Install New Font...
If you didn't do this ... Windows maybe confused since there are Registry
Settings for Fonts:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
If this gets out-of-sync, don't know what happens. You may want to check
this and see if the Font File(s) you are having problem with is in this
list.
Even if it is, something maybe out of sync.
You could try this:
I DEFINITELY WOULD DO THIS IN SAFE MODE!!!!!!
1. Create a Folder to hold Font files.
2. Copy all Font Files from Font Folder to new folder
3. Open Font Folder
4. Click on File | Install New Font...
5. Select All fonts from new folder
6. Click OK ... Install ... you will be told to delete old ... however it
will install any that are not there.
I DEFINITELY WOULD DO THIS IN SAFE MODE!!!!!!
7. Reboot normal.
Hope this helps
