From time to time I observed that the two programs

NMIndexStoreSrv.exe and NMBgMonitor.exe

(which seem to be installed by Nero burning program) are started (by which event ?).

Once started they consume a lot (up to 97%) of the CPU power.

Why ?

This (mis-)behavior occurs primarily under Win2000+SP4 but occasionally under WinXP as well.

How do I prevent the starting of these two crap programs (without completely uninstalling Nero)?
