I have a problem that appears with to be with my Win 2000 the setup that is
very frustrating:

When I click on "Start", then "Programs", it often takes about 10-15 seconds
for the program menu to appear. This seems excessive. During this time, if I
get bored and click on something else, the computer is unresponsive. Taskmgr
hangs, and I can't click on the desktop or anywhere else.

Is it normal? I would appreciate any insight or comments if anyone has seen
this problem before. I'm running a slow computer (500 MHz Pentium w/ 528MB
ram), McAfee antivirus, and about 75 other programs installed on the start
menu, but still 10-15 seconds seems out of the norm for even such a slow
computer.
