Have old PC (Celeron 600) with 98 installed and updated. As no longer
supported decided to dual boot with win2000. Having problem on updating in
that fails when trying to install Security Update for MDAC 2.5 SP3
(KB911562). Error reporting returns problem resolution in that I have
installed a later version of MDAC. The Component Checker Utility confirms I
have MDAC 2.8 SP1 on windows XP (?) SP2.

I don't find the KB article of much use otherwise as I still don't know how
to rectify having read it.

What do I have to do to rectify??
