Hi all,
I've been experiencing some issues lately with my laptop [wireless]
no longer being able to communicate with my Jetdirect 300x printserver.

Things were working before and when I cleaned up the cables (this
involved powering down everything, reorganizing cables, plugging things
back in, etc), I started running into this issue.
The strange thing is that I can ping the printserver from my server
which is wired on the network (the print server is also hooked up by
wire). I can't ping the printserver directly from my wireless laptop, I
can ping every other device though.
My first thought was that this was firewall-related, but I've made
no changes to my firewall settings (zonealarm with winxp firewall
disabled). The only other thing I can think of, that I heard about a
while back, is that if sometimes you may run into issues communicating
with certain devices [older, I'm guessing] through a switch/router when
trying to communicate wirelessly.

One thing I haven't tried yet is plugging the laptop in to the router
and seeing if I can ping the printserver. That would probably help
isolate further... I'll try that when I get home tonight.

But does anyone have any other ideas as to what might be the cause
behind all this?
