I am looking at installing XP-pro 64 and I am wondering how and if the
following games are currently running on it:

Battlefield 2 and expansions
Call of Duty's
Age of Empires
FS2004

However if anyone has experiences on other games please let me know. Or if
the compatability layer works for these types of applications.
Thanks

Generally the hardware compatibility for x64 is terrible, software usually
works ok if your hardware is supported. There's really no advantage to using
XP x64 unless you need over 4GB of RAM which is very unlikely for the home
user. This is only my opinion but I would recommend sticking with the
regular 32-bit version of XP.

I was kicking around the idea of a 4 to 6 gig ram drive to run the games
from. Basically I am tired of buying a new computer every year to keep up
with the games.
Thanks for the input.
