I work on a large enterprise and deal with PKI issues on a regular basis with
our information assurance people. part of my job is to gather domain
controller information in order for our IA crew to search it for user
certificates. After banging our heads against the wall using the "NETDOM
VERIFY" command (which does return a domain controller...but not always the
correct one), I was introduced to the "SET L" command - this too, returns a
logon domain controller - and so far, it has worked 100% of the time. Why do
these 2 commands return different results?
Thanks!
