I am running a win2k AD domain and by default the password expiry
notification pops up 14 days before the password is due to expire.

I would like to change this to 20 days before the password is due to
expire.

I cannot find this in the group policy. Can someone help me please??

It is in the group policy under Computer Settings, Windows Settings,
Security Settings, Local Policies, Security Options. In the Security
options folder you should see "prompt user to change password".

i found this setting on the local PC but not on the domain security
policy.

Does this mean I'll have to edit this setting on every individual
machine in the domain??
