Hi
My setup has an ADSL wireless router (Billion) setup as DHCP with 3
PC's connected using CAT5. I wanted to setup 3 more PC's at the other
end of the house without wireing.
So - setup one PC with a wireless network card and second std card
connected to a switch. Other PC's plugged into the switch. (All PC's
running WIN2K pro). Setup ICS on the main PC and WIN2K assigned
192.168.0.1 to the other card. This PC connects to internet OK, and can
ping www.google.com, the router and the clients.
The client PC's will not connect to the internet. I have looked at lots
of web pages (they make it sound so easy), but I cannot make it work.
The clients are having there IP addresses assigned by ICS, and I can
ping 192.168.0.1 from the client machines. I cannot ping the IP address
of the wireless card, the ADSL router, www.google.com or 66.249.89.99
(google ip).
I have tried manual and auto setup for clients
The most common setup is below.

The Server
Adaptor 1 connected to the modem:
TCP/IP set to obtain automatically
File & Printer Sharing on tcp/ip disabled
No DNS or Gateways enabled
(Win2k disable netbios over TCP in WINs)

Adaptor 2 connected to the LAN
TCP/IP set to 192.168.0.1, Subnet 255.255.255.0
File & Printer Sharing Enabled
No DNS or Gateways enabled

The client/s
TCP/IP set to obtain automatically
File & Printer Sharing & Netbios over TCP under WINs Enabled
No Gateways

2 web sites I have followed are
http://www.ozcableguy.com/cableicswin2k.html#win2k
http://www.networklab.co.uk/cmodem/win2kics.html

I just do not know what to try next. Any help would be appreciated

What is the IP address you get from the modem. It must be something
different than 192.168.0 x.

What is the IP address of the server's wireless network card (Adaptor
1)?

If it's 192.168.0.x, ICS won't work, and you'll have to change the
wireless router to use a different subnet, such as 192.168.1.x.
