i keep getting problems with loading games, most cases are problems with
directx e.g. error message: can't create directx context for full screen,
please reinstall directx. but i already have an upgraded directx version 9.0.

there are many other games which i'm also having problems loading them.

pls help!

Hello there.

I'd take a stab at the video driver being A) out of date or B) the video
card simply isn't supported probably due to being under-powered.

If it's A then its solvable by downloading a video driver from the
manufacturers website and installing it. However if it's B it would require
a new video card itself.

If you could post the games you're having problems with and your video card
details that would help point you in the right direction. To find out what
video card you have:

Press Start
-> Click Run
--> Type dxdiag in the run box and press enter
---> Click the Display tab in the dxdiag window

Details for the video card should be listed on the left hand side of the
page, if you post back with those it would help.

hi, the video card i have is mobile intel 945GM express chipset family. i
even tried installing the DirectX 9.0 Web setup to upgrade.

some of the games that i can't load were mystic inn, tycoon city new york,
spring break, cake mania (before i could load this) etc. and the display of
the monopoly tycoon 3 seems abit off too... :(

any advice?
