Hi,

Thanks in advance

I have to migrate from Windows 2000 server to windows 2003. So Can
anybody tell me the complete procedure or pls. suggest me the link where I
can find complete documentaion.

An early reply will be highly appreciable.

There is plenty of this stuff on the Windows Server website
and probably in the built-in help.

Generally, though you should look into UPGRADE rather
than MIGRATE unless there is NO practical way that will
work for you.

Upgrade is easy. Migration is always tedious (at best) or
worse.

I had to migrate since I had new hardware and my oranization name changed.
I found these
tools handy.

ADMT 3.0
SetACL
MS File Server migration tool

to migrate computers, first make sure that an administrator on the targe
domain is added to the local administrator's group on your machines(in
source domain). This can be done with a script and GPO. Sometimes your
source domain machines don't run this script but, you can also do it
manually via Computer Management tool.
