We have some windows 2000 members servers in branches. Some can be browsed
under Network Places, some cannot be seen in the network neighborhood. I
checked TCP/IP settings. Some use DNS name to resolve name resolution some
use WINS. I mimic the working one server settings but it didn't work. Any
thought ?
File and Print sharing enabled? Can you ping them? Can you find them by
\\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ?

Sorry I forgot mention file and print sharing are all enabled and firewall
disabled on the server but we can browse other servers and could not browse
these two. We also can type UNC path to get in servers.
Another question how to enable master browser?

Make sure Server and Workstation services are running. Make sure no
firewalls are blocking File and Print sharing.
