Hi we are moving on windows 2003 and i want to push the printer to the pc

Is there a way they can be push configure with the good settings ?

And is there a way to remove the name of the server for each printer

Ex: GCMS on MRBLVFP1 would be only GCMS

Thanks

Jac

the server name will stay with the connection until you roll out Vista
clients.

I am assuming you are using Deployed printer connections in the R2 release.

not automagically but the user can change the name of any printer connection
so it no longer contains the "on server".
