When I try to use WMM to capture off my TIVO, I get an error message that
says "An Unknown Error Has Occured". I was able to do capture before.
I am able to use my capture card to capture to Pinnacle and Virtualdub.
Could this be a problem with SP2?
The capture card driver is ATI Rage Theater Video Capture.

If you used to be able to do it then you must have changed something that
has affected it.
If it worked before SP2 and now doesn't it could be that. It may be
something else you have changed.

MM rarely works though with analogue sources, so it's best to use the app
which came with the capture card.

Is there anyway to remove and reinstall MM? It is not in the Remove Programs
menu,
The capture driver I am using is the one from the video card

I also have the same issue, dont know if this occuring since I did some
updates or after installed Ulead software. All I know is that im no longer
able to capture neither with Movie Maker 2.1, neither with the software that
came along with my AIW 9800Pro.

Based on all I read, it is related to codec issues... But how to fins the
one that isnt working anymore??
