the error message reads "General message failure. Quit Microsoft office
Excel, restart the mail system, and try again". I have already gone into
Internet Options, Programs and the email is setup to Microsoft Office
Outlook. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Is Ourlook open when you use that command? Are Outlook and the rest of Office the same version?

Yes Outlook is open and yes, it is the same version as Office. It all came
in Microsoft Office Small Business 2003, SP2. Also, I am able to still go
into Outlook and attach the file that way. It is just when I am in Word,
Excel or Adobe Acrobat V6.0 that it is giving me this message.
