I get this error message at the very end of the installation:

I am running Windows XP, I reinstalled .net framework 2.0. I have no idea
what to do and it pisses me off, because I spent almost an hour installing
the game and I get this stupid error message. I would appreciate some help

None of those images are coming up for me, however since you just
bought this brand new game, I invite you to contact Microsoft Support
so they can resolve that issue for you so you can enjoy your investment.

That totally sux dude. I was just going to pick up the deluxe edition on
monday. Maybe I'll just wait until I hear better things about the latest
revision of one of my favorite games.


What kind of video card are you running? ATI or nVidia both need the
latest and greatest drivers to run and/or install a game like FlightSimX.

I would try to enter that error message at the game's web site..

Who knows, they may have seen it before. Or maybe Google it.

I'm Getting the same error, ANy help or solution. Suck to have to wait until
the end to get the error, just to have the installer unistall the whole thing
again.

It has apparently to do with AntiAdware programs and Firewalls. As a
rule of thumb, when installing original games, disable your AV, Firewall
and Malware detectors (Adaware, Spyblaster etc)
