I amd currently running two pc's one has XP and one has 2000 professional. I
am trying to transfer some large files from XP to 2000 via a cd. The files
write successfully but when I put the cd in 2000 it says please insert a disc
over and over again (ie it can't recognise the cd as a cd). Please help me?

-There shouldn't be any problem so long as the CDs are burned to the
standard ISO 9660 format.

The issue here might be that you have CD-burning software installed which
works to a differing standard, for example DirectCD. In this case you might
have to install the apprpriate reader on the 2000 PC.

It could also be a dodgy drive, of course.
