View Full Version : "Script" problem with IE6 Email

Patch

Suddenly I'm having problems when I open my Email with my XP Pro computer.
A message pops up saying "An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line:137
Char: 9
Error: Topdate format is null and not an object
Code: 0
URL: Mhtml:mid//00000000/

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Yes No

I've ran Adaware & AVG virus scan, no joy. I did a system restore with no
help. This problem started when I opened an Email a couple of days ago.

Any ideas on how to repair this problem?

Thanks

Hi,

That is the error on your email website and has nothing to do with your
computer. As you know that web based email sites are programmed and updated
from time to time and so a recent update ot their website must have resulted
in this error.

To turn off this dialog box you will have to go to Tools | Internet Options

Click on the advanced tab.

uncheck this option "display a notification about every script error" and
you will not get errors again when browsing.
