I'm trying to create a new icon for my desktop to serve as a shortcut to my
ISP. When I try to drag the icon out of the window to the desktop and let go
of the left mouse button, the icon jumps back into the window and doesn't
remain on the desktop. My ISP tells me that this is a common glitch with
Windows 2000. I am using Windows 2000 Professional. Please Help!!!
Thanks! Andy

I'd try cutting and pasting.
