I am running TS license server on a 2000 box with SP4. I installed the
Windows patches from July as well as the 2000 SP4 rollup patch. The next day
none of my thin client devices (linux based) are receiving TS licenses. I
removed the rollup patch but that created even more problems so I had to
reinstall it. I think the hotfix that replaces lserver.exe (827355) would
work for me but I don't know where to find it and I do not want to pay MS for
it. Any ideas???

Below is the error appearing in event viewer on the license server:
Type: Warning
Source: TermServLicensing
Event ID: 22
The Terminal Services Licensing server xxxx has no license pack registered
for product 'Windows 2000 Terminal Services Client Access License'. Use
Terminal Services Licensing administrative tool to register the licenses
pack.

And I assume that you have purchased TS CALs installed on the TS
Licensing Server? And that you have free TS CAls available?
It seems like the TS Licensing Server doesn't recognize that you
have any TS CALs installed on it at all.
Have you tried to deactivate and reactivate the TS Licensing
Server?

If that doesn't solve the problem, I would run lsview and lsreport
from the Resource Kit and then post the results here or phone the
Clearinghouse.

Vera,
Thanks for the response. Once I actually read the error message on the LS I
went online for a new license pack key and installed it. Everything is
working fine now. Appreciate your help very much.
