I am a novice at this. I have 2 PCs behind a wireless router, working on a
home network. I just bought a new laptop with Windows XP Home that I want to
use when away from home, and I want to activate the Remote Desktop feature of
Windows XP to connect with one of my PCs which is running Windows XP Pro.
Where can I find simple step by step instructions to do this? How do I find
the network address of the PC to which I am trying to connect from the
outside? Do I need to get a permanent IP address assigned by my ISP to the
PC or just to the wireless router? Basically, how does the outside world
identify the specific PC I want to use when it is inside a home network?
