Hi,
I'm developing a product that is useing XP Pro With Embedded Restrictions.
Essentially a full XP Pro installation with the same licensing restrictions
imposed on the Componentised XP Embedded. (I've used this due to cost and
time restrictions during development)
The system is designed to Hibernate and resume rather than do a full boot
each time it's switched on. Works great, except when the system doesn't
resume properly and I get the message asking wether I want to start from
hibernation or to
delete the restoration information and do a full boot.
I know that the XP Embedded build (which we use on another product) has a
modified NTLDR which doesn't display this.
The question is, is it possible to graft the NTLDR from the Embedded XP to
XP PRO.
It should be right ? After all the binaries are supposed to be the same ?
Can any one help and has anyone done this before.
Any help appreciciated.
