I am trying to resolve a system log error that shows as
following:

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NETLOGON
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5782
Date: 2/12/2003
Time: 1:35:20 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER
Description:
Dynamic registration or deregistration of one or more DNS
records failed with the following error:
No DNS servers configured for local system.


I have searched the knowledgebase, and dont get a direct
hit for 5782. How can I fix this problem?

Do you have DNS-server configured? It should listen to the server-IP. On the
properties of the Forward and Reverse Lookup Zones, you should have 'allow
dynamic updates' set to yes.
